Real Estate of North Idaho Dot Com was first started in mid 2007 though didn’t undergo completion until early 2008. I built this website to be my window to those looking for real estate related material of the North Idaho area online.
The website itself is based off of the widely used open source Wordpress platform which easily allows users to join, comment and if allowed, even add their own content to the website. I chose Wordpress for the platform for many reasons. It’s very versatile and has a large support base. By using a content management system that has a lot of support, it’s continually updated with new and improved features. The internet is always changing so my website needs to also, so I always keep the most current stable version of Wordpress installed on my server. Up to date technology not only helps me portray myself better but it also allows me to serve my clients better, whether it be better market exposure for a listing or current news and area info for someone moving to the area.
I’d say that somewhere around 95% of the pictures on this website are taken by myself as photography is a hobbie of mine and North Idaho has so much to offer that, it’s hard to get it all in frame! The other 5% come from friends, family, or other online sources.
